Does SlouchGoblin record or store my camera feed?
No. SlouchGoblin processes each camera frame in real time on your device and immediately discards it. No images, video, or biometric data is ever stored, logged, or transmitted to any server.
Which platforms are supported?
macOS (both Apple Silicon and Intel) is available now. Windows and Linux support are on the roadmap.
How much CPU and memory does it use?
Typically under 5% CPU on modern Macs thanks to the lite MediaPipe model. Memory footprint is around 150–200 MB. It's designed to run all day without impacting your workflow.
Can I use it without an internet connection?
Yes. The AI models are downloaded once on first launch. After that, SlouchGoblin works entirely offline — no internet access is required.
How is the posture score calculated?
After calibration, your current shoulder width, ear position, nose position, and shoulder slope are compared against your personal baseline. Larger deviations lower the score. Uncalibrated mode uses a general ear-to-shoulder ratio heuristic.
